Math Challenge 2026-2027
Welcome to the Math Challenge Program (MCP) at Anansi Charter School! Students can participate by solving biweekly math challenges and submitting their answers according to the instructions below.
👨👩👧 For Families:
We encourage families to explore the challenges together. Discussing strategies and ideas is a great way to build problem-solving skills.
- All students are invited to participate.
- There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year.
- Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available

🧠 How to Participate
Step 1:
Click the Current Math Challenge link to view the latest Math Challenge set. New challenges are released every two weeks! See schedule for more details.
Step 2:
Solve the problems. Work independently or with family—show your thinking clearly.
Step 3:
Drop off the solution in the Math Challenge Box outside the front office or outside of Ms. Dickey's room before the due date.
Step 4:
The solutions will be released along with the next challenge. Review your work, compare strategies and reflect! Then grab the next challenge and have at it.

🏆 Recognition
Students who submit at least 10 math challenge sets this school year will be recognized and celebrated! Students who submit every math challenge set for the school year could win a trip to Tahiti, just kidding, but you will still be recognized and celebrated! :)
