Welcome to the Math Challenge Program (MCP) at Chester Academy! Students can participate by solving biweekly math challenges and submitting their answers according to the instructions below.
We encourage families to explore the challenges together. Discussing strategies and ideas is a great way to build problem-solving skills.
- All students are invited to participate.
- There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year.
- Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available

🧠 How to Participate
- Access the current challenge
Use the link above (CURRENT MATH CHALLENGE) to view the latest Math Challenge set. New challenges are released every two weeks as per schedule below. - Solve the problems
Work independently or with family—show your thinking clearly. - Submit your answers
Drop off your solution in the Math Challenge box (at the school office) before the due date. - Check solutions
The solutions will be released along with the next challenge. Review your work, learn different strategies, reflect on your approach.
🏆 Recognition
Students who complete the challenge will have names displayed on the school Math Wall and will be listed during morning announcements once a month.
Certificates (and prizes) will be provided at the end of the year for students who participate regularly.
