The program is completely free and no-sign up is necessary.

How to Participate

There will be 15 sets of math challenges shared about every other week during the school year. Each set will have 10–18 problems that get trickier as you go.
If you have any questions about participating, please reach out to Mrs. Getz at [email protected]
  1. Get your challenge. You can either print the newest challenge at home or pick up a copy near the main office.
  2. Give it a try! Solve as many problems as you can. Be sure to check the minimum number required for your grade. Remember - you don’t have to do it alone! You can work by yourself, with classmates, or even as a family at home. Asking questions and helping each other is always encouraged.
  3. Turn in your work. When you’re ready, place your completed challenge in the Math Challenge bin outside the main office by the due date. Don’t forget to write your first and last name, and your teacher’s name, on the paper.
  4. Prizes and recognition! Each challenge will include a random prize drawing - so hand in your work on time for a chance to be one of our lucky winners.
  5. End-of-year celebration. Students who complete at least 14 challenges during the year will receive a certificate and a special reward in the spring.
Remember - math isn’t just for school! Take these challenges home, share them with friends or family, and try out different strategies. The goal is to enjoy the adventure, learn along the way, and HAVE FUN with math!
