General Information
Math Challenge is a free math enrichment program for all Coyote Creek Elementary students, no registration is necessary! There will be 15 sets of challenges published approximately every other week throughout the school year, and each set will present 10-18 problems ordered by level of difficulty.
How to Participate
- Print out the current math challenge or you can also find them on the display outside Ms. McFarland's office, room 207 in the 3rd grade pod.
- Solve as many questions as you can. Please pay attention to the minimum number of questions required for your grade. Students are encouraged to ask for help if needed! You have the option to work on the challenges individually or team up with your classmates. It's always more fun to tackle problems together!
- Once you've solved the challenges and are feeling confident, it's time to submit your responses. On, or before, the assigned due date, place your completed work in the "Turn In" basket outside of Ms. McFarland's office. Your submissions will be scored and given back to your teacher. To add a bit of excitement, for each challenge, we will randomly select one winner per grade level from the students who turn in their completed challenges. Listen for your name on the announcements because you might be one of the lucky winners!
So, gear up, put on your thinking caps, and get ready for a math-tastic journey with the Math Challenge program. Let's create a community of enthusiastic math thinkers and discover the joy of mathematics together!
