Welcome to the Endeavor Math Path Challenge Program! We are so excited for our school to embark on a math problem-solving journey together. The goal of Endeavor’s Math Path is to spark mathematical curiosity and grow a creative math-thinking community. Let’s stretch our math minds and have some fun together along the way! Throughout the school year, there will be 15 sets of challenges that will push your math thinking. Each challenge will have 18 problems which will increase in level of difficulty as you go along. Log on to self-check the answers for each challenge. The challenges will be available online, and you can also pick up printed copies from Dr. Hatfield room 206. You have the option to work on the challenges individually or team up with your classmates or family members. It's always more fun to tackle problems together! You can solve in any order and skip around. Solve as many problems as you can and ask for help if you need it. The Math Challenge is supposed to be fun! Productive struggle is good but stop before that struggle turns to frustration. Have fun and good luck Rockets!
General Information
- All Endeavor Elementary students are invited to participate.
- There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year.
- Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and solutions will be available on this webpage.
🧠 How to Participate
- Receive the Challenge
- Teachers will hand out the Math Challenge to students.
- Solve the Problems
- Students are encouraged to work independently or with others. Students should show their thinking and explain their strategies clearly.
- Submit Your Work
All work must be completed and turned in before the due date. - Review the Solutions
Solutions will be shared with the next Math Challenge. Students are encouraged to review their work, learn different strategies, and reflect on their approach.
🏆 Recognition
Students who participate consistently in the Math Challenge will be recognized for their effort and achievement!
10+ Completed Challenges: Students who submit at least 10 completed Math Challenge sets during the school year will be recognized at the end of the year with a certificate and a small prize.
Rocket Rewards: Students who meet the correct-answer goal and show their work will earn Rocket Rewards and a sweet treat.
Show Your Thinking: Students are encouraged to show their mathematical thinking and explain how they solved each problem.
