General Information
- The program is completely free and no sign-up is necessary.
- This is a fantastic opportunity for families to be involved and enjoy math through fun and engaging math problems.
- All students at Global Idea School are invited to participate.
- There will be 8 more challenges throughout the rest of the school year.
- Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available on this webpage.
How to Participate
- Print out the Math Challenge at home, staple the pages together and complete within the week.
- Return the completed Math Challenge papers to Ms. Iris on the due date listed.
- Access the current challenge by clicking the big blue button on the top.
- There are 15 challenges each school year. Each challenge will be released on a Friday. You have until the next challenge date to complete it (normally 2 weeks).
- The Iguanas will have time in math class to work on the challenges if they choose to participate.
- The solutions will be released along with the next challenge.
- All students who participate in 6 or more challenges will receive a certificate and a small prize at the end of the school year.
