General Information
The Math Challenge program is an optional math enrichment program for k-6 students consisting of a series of challenging and interesting math problems:
- Math Challenge is free, and no sign-up is necessary.
- All students K-6 are invited to participate.
- The first math challenge begins on September 12, 2025.
- Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available on this webpage.
- These math challenges utilize problem solving strategies such as drawing a picture or model, making an organized list, looking for a pattern, working backward, and guess and check.
Each challenge presents up to 18 problems ordered by level of difficulty which enables students from various grades to participate. The minimum number of questions to submit for each grade level is listed below. You do not need to answer them in order.
- Kinder & First Grade: solve at least 3 problems.
- Second & Third Grade: solve at least 7 problems.
- Fourth - Sixth Grade: solve at least 12 problems. Completed challenges can be submitted using this Google Form.
