Math Challenge 2025-2026

General Information

• The Math Challenge is completely free and open to all K–5 students.
• There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year.
• Each challenge is designed to sharpen students’ mathematical thinking using strategies such as:
  • Drawing a picture or model
  • Making an organized list
  • Looking for patterns
  • Working backward
  • Guessing and checking
• Challenge dates and solutions will be posted on the Math Challenge webpage. Please refer to the Schedule Calendar for details.

How to Participate ​

1. Download and print the current Math Challenge from the website OR check your child’s Tuesday folder.
2. Solve as many problems as possible.
3. Submit completed solutions by the listed due date.
4. Turn in your work to your child’s math teacher or place it in the Math Challenge tray outside the Library.
