General Information
- Math Challenge is free and no-sign up is necessary!
- All students Grade 1 to Grade 6 are invited to participate.
- There will be 15 challenges throughout this school year.
- Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the solutions will be due.
How to Participate
- Obtain a Math Challenge form from your classroom teacher and complete it by the due date. The work can be done in class or at home.
- Return the completed Math Challenge to your classroom teacher by the due date listed.
- Every student that completes a challenge will have their participation recorded for recognition at the end of the year and receive a participation certificate at the end of the year.
- Completion of at least 7 out of the 15 Math Challenges will enable the student to be put in for a prize drawing at the end of the year!
Benefits
The purpose of this program is to provide engagement and challenge to students by providing interesting math problems. Participation will strengthen their math fundamentals, critical thinking, problem solving skills and confidence in math.
