Math Challenge 2026-2027

Welcome to the Math Challenge Program (MCP) at Roye Williams Elementary! Students can participate by solving biweekly math challenges and submitting their answers according to the instructions below. ​

• All students are invited to participate.
• There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year.
• Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available 

🧠 How to Participate

​1. Get the newest challenge from your teacher.
2. Independently solve the problems.  Be sure to clearly show your thinking or solution path.
3. Place your completed math challenge in the collection folder before the due date.
4. Top scores will be displayed after each challenge. 

Let's explore different math strategies as we work to challenge our math brains! 

​🏆 Recognition

The top student scorers in each grade level will receive a certificate and a small math prize.  Any student who attempts all challenges will receive a lunch bunch at the end of the year.
