• Math Challenge is free and no-sign up is necessary.
• All students K to 5 are invited to participate in the challenge
• New challenges will be released every few weeks
• Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available on this webpage. 
• This is a great opportunity for families to be involved and enjoy math through fun and engaging math problems. We encourage parents and siblings to get involved in discussing and solving the problems.  

How to Participate

1.  Print out the current Math Challenge (button above).  Write your name at the top & staple pages together.
2.  Solve as many problems as you can.  Be sure to pay attention to the minimum number of problems required for your grade. 

• K-1st grade: at least 3 problems
• 2nd-3rd grade: at least 7 problems
• 4th-6th grade: at least 12 problems

3.  Submit your solutions to Mrs. Petkevis by the due date. Work must be shown if it’s appropriate.  If work is shown on a separate sheet, staple it to the math challenge worksheet.
4.  Completion of at least 10 Math Challenges will enable the student to participate in an end-of-year recognition party. Additional prizes may be given to the top student per grade who has the most accumulated correct answers.
