General Information
Math Challenge is a free school-wide enrichment program open to all Clover students consisting of a series of challenging math problems that will sharpen students’ mathematical problem-solving skills.
This is FREE and NO SIGN-UP is necessary.
Starting in September, 15 sets of challenges will be posted every other week throughout the school year, and each set will present problems ordered by level of difficulty. Each grade-level has a minimum number of problems to solve in each challenge.
TK: at least 2 problems
K-1st grade: at least 3 problems
2nd-3rd grade: at least 7 problems
4th-5th grade: at least 12 problems
Students who successfully meet their grade-level challenge will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a small prize.
All students who participate will be recognized on our Clover Math Club “Wall of Fame”. Completion of 12+ Math Challenges will enable the student to receive a recognition certificate in June 2025. Additionally, as a year-end prize, the top 3 classrooms with the most participation throughout the school year will be awarded a classroom prize.
While this is completely optional/voluntary, we hope students and families will join us in this fun learning experience - one that will entice, engage, and challenge students to solve interesting math problems while strengthening their math fundamentals, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and improving confidence in math.
Good Luck, Clover Mathletes!
