General Information:
Math Challenge is a FREE math enrichment program for Twain elementary students from Math-In-Action. No registration required and students can jump in at any time! There will be 15 sets of challenges published approximately every other week throughout the school year. Please refer to the calendar below for release and due dates of the challenges. Each set will present 10-18 problems ordered by level of difficulty. They are designed to give students opportunities to sharpen their mathematical problem-solving skills.
How to Participate
- Download/Open the pdf of the Current Math Challenge available at button above.
- Solve as many problems as you can (please pay attention to the minimum number of problems to solve successfully for your grade). We encourage you to discuss strategies and solutions with your parents and siblings and attempt as many questions as possible.
- Parents can help email completed sets to Math challenge coordinator Suvvi at [email protected]. Please do not forget to put your student's name, grade, class teacher. Submit your solutions by 2pm on the due date.
- Check Solution online. It will be available on the solution date by 3pm PST.
Completion of 12 or more Math Challenges will enable the student to receive a special prize at the end of the school year!
