How to Participate
All students K to grade 5 are invited to participate in the Math Challenge program. Please submit your solutions to each Math Challenge by the due date. Please send your submissions to [email protected].
Periodic awards will be given out this year, as long as the students are attending class in person. For MC 5 and MC 12 all students who submit a qualified Math Challenge will receive a prize. For the remaining Math Challenges 6 winners will be randomly chosen from the qualified submissions to receive a prize. Awards will also be given at the end of the year to the students who complete 12 or more qualified Math Challenges.
To qualify the student must have the required number of correct solutions for their grade level. Students are strongly encouraged to complete extra problems above their grade level requirement if they would like to qualify for periodic or end of year prizes!
Parents can find updates about the Math Challenge program from the school's newsletter (Beagle Bugle). Please note that corrected submissions will not be returned or saved. If you want to track your student’s progress on each Math Challenge, please save a copy of the submission and compare it with the solutions. The solutions are published on the dates shown in the chart.
