General Information
Math Club is a math enrichment program for elementary students that provides opportunities for kids to engage in fun, mind-stimulating, thought-provoking math activities. The goal of these challenges is to create a community of thinkers.
The program provides 15 sets of challenges throughout the school year. Challenges are published every other week starting in late September and ending in May. Each challenge presents 10 to 18 problems of varying difficulty.
Math in Action challenges our students beyond their daily math work by pushing kids to their maximum potential as well as encouraging them to develop out of box thinking, strategy and problem-solving skills. These math challenges allow students to utilize problem solving strategies such as draw a picture or model, make an organized list, look for a pattern, and guess and check.
