Math Challenge 2025-2026

General Information

  • Math Challenge is free and no-sign up is necessary.​
  • All students K to Grade 5 are invited to participate.
  • There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year. 
  • Refer to the Schedule Calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available on this webpage. 
  • Email [email protected] with any questions about the program.
  • Students who complete at least 10 challenges with sufficient correct answers will earn recognition at the end of the year, while those who successfully complete all 14 challenges and submit them on time will be awarded a trophy.

How to Participate

  1. Access the current Math Challenge by downloading and printing it from mathinaction.org.
  2. Students are encouraged to attempt as many problems as possible beyond the minimum required for their grade level to build stronger problem-solving skills.
  3. If you need assistance with problem-solving strategies, visit https://www.mathinaction.org/problem-solving-strategies.html for detailed guidance and helpful tips.
  4. Submit completed answers using the online submission form provided .


  5. This free school-wide math enrichment program offers a series of engaging and challenging problems designed to enhance elementary students' mathematical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Participate regularly to gain recognition and prizes at year-end.
