How to Participate
1. Get the Challenge by clicking on the blue “Current Math Challenge” button at the top of the page. Download the form from this website and print it out or read the challenge problems online.
2. Solve some problems. Every grade has a minimum number of problems to solve. You can solve in any order and skip around. Solve as many problems as you can and ask for help if you need it. We encourage you to discuss your strategies and solutions with your parents and family members!
3. Submit your answers on the appropriate Google Form. When you click on the due date for that Math Challenge, it will take you to a Google Form to submit your answers. Please be careful to enter the answers for the problems that
you solved. For example, if you started on problem #5, leave questions #1-4 “blank” in the Google Form. If you skipped problem #12, be sure you leave Questions #12 question blank on your Google Form. Students will need to use their Google account for the sign in or we will have no way to know who submitted the form.
4. Be Recognized for your hard work! You will earn an entry in an end-of-the-year drawing for math-related prizes for every math challenge that you submit which meets your grade-level requirement. Note that an entry in the drawing is not a guarantee to win a prize. In addition, every student that completes at least 12 of the 15 challenges will be recognized at the end of the 2022-2023
school year. All students who participate will be recognized on our Math Challenge “Wall of Fame”.
