Math Challenge 2022-2023General Information |
- It is an optional math enrichment opportunity.
- Math Challenge is free and no-sign up is necessary.
- All students K to Grade 5 are invited to participate.
- There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year.
- Refer to the calendar for dates on when the challenges and their solutions will be available on this webpage.
How to Participate
1) GET the Challenge. You can access the challenge from this website by clicking the big blue button on the top right corner of this page. You can then choose to work on it by printing it out.
2) SOLVE as many problems as you can! You can skip around and solve problems in any order. Use a math notebook or scrap paper to work out solutions. Ask for help if you need it. We encourage you to discuss strategies with your family members or classmates.
Every grade-level has a recommended minimum number of problems to solve.
• Kindergarten and 1st Grade: Solve at least 3 problems.
• 2nd and 3rd Grade: Solve at least 7 problems.
• 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade: Solve at least 12 problems.
3) SUBMIT your answers by the due date to your teacher. See due dates listed below.
