General Information

The Math Challenge program is a free school-wide math enrichment program for elementary students consisting of series of challenging and interesting math.
 
The program provides 15 sets of challenges throughout the school year; each set is published intermittently (schedule provided below) starting in late September and ending in May.  These math challenges cover problem solving strategies such as draw a picture or model, make an organized list, look for a pattern, working backward, and guess and check.  Each challenge present 10 to 18 problems ordered by level of difficulties which enables students from various grades to participate.

How to Participate

The Math Challenge is free to participate for all Woodmoor Elementary students.
 
Problems will be available online per schedule below.  Please let me know if you need a hard copy provided.

Answers can be emailed to WoodmoorMath@hotmail.com by the due date.
 
One random winner per grade will be selected from those who submit their completed Challenges.  Each participant completing 12 Challenges during this year’s program will receive a recognition certificate in June 2022.
