All Wilder Elementary students are invited to participate in our free Math Challenge enrichment program — no registration required! Throughout the school year, we will offer 15 sets of engaging math challenges, released approximately every other week. Each set will include 10-18 problems, ranging from easier to more advanced, providing a fun and stimulating way to improve math skills at any level.

General Information
- Math Challenge is free and no-sign up is necessary.
- All students K to Grade 5 are invited to participate.
- There will be 15 challenges throughout the school year.
- Refer to the Calendar below for dates on when the challenges are due and when their solutions will be available.
How to Participate
- GET current challenge: Math Challenges will be sent home in “Take Home Folders” once they are available online. You may also print out a copy from 'Current Math Challenge'.
- SOLVE at least the required number of problems for your grade level.
- SUBMIT solutions by the due date. Three ways to submit:

- Turn in printed copy to office by due date.
- Email a photo of student work to [email protected]
- RECOGNITION: Every student that submits a challenge on time will have the chance to be recognized on the cafeteria Math Board, in the PTSA Newsletter, and during morning announcements. One student in each grade will be randomly selected for each challenge.
- PRIZES: Every student who submits at least 10 challenges will receive a certificate and a small prize. Students who submit all 15 challenges will receive a gold medal in addition to the prize and certificate.
